We are looking for an EXPERIENCED SUPERMARKET PRODUCE MANAGER to add to our team. Qualified manager candidates exhibit our company values of integrity, self-realization, family, service, enjoyment and sustainability. A qualified candidate has experience managing and maintaining all standards in a supermarket Produce department. At the very least, a qualified Produce Manager candidate must be highly knowledgeable of all fruits, vegetables, and products carried in a supermarket Produce department; food safety standards surrounding such a department; be knowledgeable about flavors, preparation, allergies and nutrition values of department product; be able to merchandise and create Produce displays; along with have experience ordering and overseeing inventory; and properly manage a staff of approximately 15 associates. Our management team puts our people first, advocating for our associates and addressing their issues with urgency, so that is a must. The Produce Manager position is hourly, Full Time and is 40-48 hours per week.

* Fruits and vegetable (Produce) expertise

* Supermarket management

* Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, climb, squat, push, pull, and regularly lift & carry 50+ lbs

* Outstanding customer service

* Strong leadership skills

* Available 5am-midnight, daily

* Weekend availability required

* Must be able to work within store coolers, freezers, in and out of cold temperatures

* Must be able to handle all products stocked on the sales floor

* Must be comfortable with utilizing hand-held and computer technology and capable of thoroughly analyzing data
