Summary: Product Engineer will be a key team member assisting with release of a diverse portfolio of products along with creation of technical collateral, remote FAE support, and participating in new technology research and product introduction [NPIs].

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in Abracon’s New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts for RF and Antenna products
• Ownership of Product Engineering deliverables such as assisting in executing technology roadmap, product testing and validation, creating source control drawings (SCDs), website datasheets, Eval board design, technical drawings towards New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and drive to meet project schedules for successful execution
• Develop deep knowledge of the application segment(s) including technical and business requirements, competitors and key trends
• Use internal test procedures for bench testing using standard lab equipment
• Debug and evaluate new devices, software, board hardware and document results
• Collaborate with Product Line Management towards Quick-Hit trainings on technology and new products
• Collaborate with sales, FAEs and customers on technical support and training
• Author and publish application notes/white papers focused on Abracon component performance in end-applications
• Maintain compliance to assigned project schedules and budgets
• Update the engineering related databases, as needed
• Assist Product Engineers with technical support of test programs, both locally and at overseas locations [remotely]

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years’ experience as an electrical / component / applications / NPI / product engineer
• Excellent understanding of S-Parameter measurements and characteristics
• Understanding of and anechoic chamber measurements and post data-processing is a plus
• Understanding of board-level schematic design and PCB layout of RF circuits
• Hands-on experience with board level tuning and optimization of antennas and filter matching networks is preferred
• Experience with HFSS/CST is essential, experience with Optenni Lab, AWR/ADS, Altium is a plus
• Experience with Word, Excel is required
• Strength in documentation clarity and completeness
• Good organization skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities to meet goals in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work swing-shift a few days a week to overlap with Global Engineering team’s availability

Education:
Minimum MSEE with focus on RF and Microwaves [specific focus on Antennas is preferred]
