This position provides second level technical support to customer support team for post-sales service products through technical know-how for the North America region. Develop a strong working relationship with the technical sales development team and high vacuum, industrial and service teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provides and takes ownership of technical support for product related questions.
• Recommends vacuum equipment required for known applications.
• Develops application knowledge of Leybold products and how they are used in the market segments.
• Inputs new application information and experiences into the Knowledge Warehouse.
• Support to the PSDM, SM, and Marketing in the launch and management of new and existing product.
• Assist sales with second level product support.
• Responsible for entering, tracking, and closing customer complaints in to the Leybold Customer Complaint Management (CCM) system. Support regional warranty claim decisions.
• Log customer activity within HubSpot.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

Education level

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within office building, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires frequent computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires frequent travel for 10% of the position, overnight or multiple days possible. Domestic/International Travel
