Position Summary:

As a Product Manager, you will create and maintain the product backlog for the development team. They will increase the effectiveness and impact of key client projects by aligning business strategies and execution. They ensure that the backlog is groomed and that the team is always working on the most valuable item. The Product Manager will have ownership of backlog, tickets, and execution of every sprint.

Essential Functions:

  • Contributes to the planning, execution, and review of each sprint
  • Works with the team to refine and improve the development process
  • Understands and anticipates client needs to manage the development process
  • Has deep knowledge of the market and the evolving value proposition of the product
  • Understands how the product functions within the customers' operational workflows
  • Collaborates with internal teams to respond to product issues
  • Delivers clear instructions to the developers
  • Maintains product's version history to better support stateholders through change
  • Is accountable for each stage of the development process and final process
  • Inspects and evaluates product progress through each iteration
  • Determines whether the final project is acceptable
  • Keeps product in line with business goals
  • Creates, maintains and socializes the product roadmap
  • Communicates with stakeholders to understand business objectives
  • Balances scope, business risk/opportunity, and time to prioritize projects
  • Considers needs and objectives of stakeholders based on data and evidence
  • Maps out dependencies and understands trade-offs
  • Prioritizes items based on overall strategy
  • Manages prioritized list backlog of segmented tickets
  • Acts as a conduit between the business / commercial stakeholders and the product development teams by capturing business and customer needs, structuring projects and working with development teams to translate needs into requirements.
  • Defining, managing, and executing the product’s lifecycle and maintaining the product’s roadmap, including ensuring that stakeholder complaints and requests are managed as part of the product’s backlog.
  • Making decisions and recommendations backed by data, evidence and good judgment as well as measuring and demonstrating project successes.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of Product Management experience
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communications, problem solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas, business rationale and implications to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels

.Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with end to end product delivery in an information technology environment
  • Experience identifying business opportunities, building a product strategy, and influencing deliver against a multi-year roadmap
  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Product Management experience in Fintech industry
  • Certifications: SAFe, CBAP, PMP

Compliance:

  • Complies and enforces all policies and procedures.
  • Has successfully completed all required Compliance Training within the required time frame.
  • Has had no compliance related corrective action during the current review period.

Physical Requirements:

The position will require long periods of sitting at a computer workstation. Must be willing and able to lift up to 5 pounds occasionally, generally with assistance.

  • Frequently: Memorization, perception/computation, problem solving, simple and complex math skills, reasoning.

Working Conditions:

  • The work to be performed will be done in an office environment.
  • Generally, the hours will be 8-10 per day (40-50 hours per week), but may increase due to business needs
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
