We are looking for a Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical aspects of a project, aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

· Read architectural drawings and interpret end design

· Keeps project schedules current

· Coordinates the production of ship drawings and submittals with Engineering. Reviews submittals for accuracy and value engineering

· Understand job specifications and customer requests

· Implements project drawings, project documents, and processes

· Provides engineering support for project operations and applies theories and principles of engineering, science, and mathematics to implement solutions for projects

· Develops and revises bills of material, cut sheets, work orders, and shipping requirements for projects

· Engineer work orders for release to the shop floor

· Coordinate with Engineering and production teams to provide instructions and clarifications to complete work as needed and drive improvements to project design

· Prepares and develops project files, specifications, drawings, and models for projects

· Ensures that shop drawings, specifications, revisions are effective, completed on-time and actionable

· Thoroughly documents and communicates items that may affect the overall project to Project Managers and any internal/external contacts with adequate thought and analysis to prevent any project delays

· Consults with Project Managers and customers on project design and schedule

· Coordinates with Engineering, Production, and Project Management to ensure product design and all related documentation is in compliance with related specifications and is a functional product

Candidate Qualifications:

· Wide knowledge of engineering and production processes

· Creative thinking and the ability to get a task done

· Demonstrates success in latest version of all engineer software

· Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all engineering aspects

· Ability to self-manage workload and priorities
