Job Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated Estimator/Project Manager for our commercial fence installation by managing permanent fence sales and projects. We provide an excellent pay structure that includes a base annual salary plus commission. First year earnings are typically $80,000 with the potential to make $100,00k or more. This position will be responsible for the marketing and sales of fencing to new commercial construction projects and continue to maintain relationships with existing customers. Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently and with the Branch Manager to achieve sales goals.

Job Duties Include:
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Analyze blueprints, specs, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Visit site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of services such as water and electricity.
  • Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
  • Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
Education:
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
  • Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): Preferred
Field of Study: Business or Construction
Experience:
  • 5 plus years of experience in fencing estimating and sales
  • 3 plus years of experience in construction project management
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable with using smart phone.
  • Experience in J.D. Edwards or other accounting system preferred.
  • Prior experience using CAD, blueprint software required.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen . Valid driver's license issued in the employing state and good driving record.
