Responsible for the implementation of quality standards and testing procedures for steel framing, steel parts, decking, and welding. Perform QC testing, record keeping, welding inspections. Must be capable of reading and understanding steel fabrication drawings. Must be able to measure parts, bent shapes, and overall steel framing dimensions accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with production department to make sue the quality standards are clearly understood by all production engineers and technicians.

· Regularly report product quality information and feedback to management team and production team for company quality improvement.

· Willingness to learn a basic understanding and use of machine operations in steel work facility.

· Ability to accurately inspect welds. Measure parts and steel framing based on fabrication drawings.

· Maintain quality records and report accurate and complete information in reports daily.

· Oversee and manage shipping department.

Skills and Experience

· Steel framing experience, data collection and analysis in technical manufacturing environment preferred.

· QC decision making based on data collection and analysis.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Solid background in Carpentry or Construction.

· QA/QC Training preferred.

· AWS Certified Weld Inspector preferred

· Supervisory experience
