• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse must be knowledgeable about the birthing process and able to help expecting mothers during childbirth and labor.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse required to monitor the baby’s heart rate and mother’s health.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse responsible for maintaining care standards in delivery room.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse able to assess patients quickly, prioritize, and assist in minor procedures.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse must be familiar with measurement of contractions before childbirth.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse manage patient check-in process, performance of triage work for doctors, and assisting with initial insurance paperwork.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse communicate with doctors and patients to keep everyone updated on test results and treatment recommendations.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse collaborate with laboratory personnel and report lab findings back to doctors.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse assist in the labor room with inducing child birth.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse demonstration of sound decision-making in emergency scenarios based on patient conditions such as vital signs, patient presentation, and assessments.
• Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse provide RN care for all patients, as well as handling of intubations, defibrillations, auto transfusions, Medlock insertions, splinting, and more.
