Overview:
The Supply Chain Analyst – Our Brands will evaluate and analyze department activities to ensure effective and economical support for Sprouts branded product. This position will support the Our Brands team by overseeing weekly out of stock items, monitoring purchase orders, partnering with vendors on supply challenges, managing item transitions (new items, discontinued items, and packaging redesigns), as well as managing item setup and overall distribution at KeHE (3PL Partner). Please note this position is located in Phoenix, AZ.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for maintaining a weekly list of out-of-stock items with rationale and an estimated ETA

Performs complex analyses to proactively identify items at risk of becoming out of stocks or excess inventory

Strategically Partners with vendors to identify the root cause of supply challenges and work to enhance vendor relationships

Provide weekly reporting to Category Strategy Managers (CSMs)

Responsible for year over year KPIs improvements to support the $1M in Our Brand sales

Independently develops new tools and processes to enhance inventory efficiency & GMROI

Maintain ETA dates on new items after initial POs are cut and update CSMs in weekly meetings

Responsible for reducing excess discontinued product to maximize profitability for Our Brands

Main point of contact for ~200 vendors to receive timeline updates on out of stocks, new item launches, supply challenges & timeline

Conducts complex analyses for all manual allocations & communicates to KeHE

Kick off new item setup at KeHE and ensure that items are proceeding in accordance to launch timelines; ~400+ new items annually

Maintain communication and partner with vendors/KeHE to resolve everyday delivery concerns.

Notifies the Our Brands Manager and CSMs of any operational difficulties & provides recommendations for resolution.

Provide a weekly recap of the ad inventory position to the Our Brands team including all promotional plans (Flyer, demos, social media, etc.)

Analyzes promotional lifts & provides order projections with ample notice to vendors to ensure it matches production timing

Provide vendors with qtrly forecasts as needed to ensure maximum service level
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field is required.

3-5+ years of analytical experience related to Supply Chain, MP&A, Accounting/Finance, Vendor relations

Retail and grocery industry knowledge is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, required

Ability to run complex analysis independently & provide recommendations

Six Sigma approach to developing and enhancing new processes

Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work well with all levels of employees in the organization & build strategic partnerships/ability to influence

Ability to problem solve independently

Demonstrated skill with root cause analysis; able to spot when something isn’t quite right and audit with limited guidance

Proven ability to execute with speed and a high degree of accuracy

Comfortable manipulating large amounts of data and problem-solving, generating impactful recommendations – bringing insights to action
