This incumbent's responsibilities include maintenance of the general ledger system and financial records for the Norton Healthcare Office of Research Administration. Support the financial operations through the monthly general ledger close, balance sheet reconciliations, and special account analysis. Investigate and communicate significant findings to appropriate parties. This position is accountable for decision making responsibility for clinical trial budgets and grants to ensure proper cost coverage of staffing and procedural cost in clinical trials. Accounts Receivable Responsibility to include check application and review for Zone 59, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in posting of payments to correct clinical trial account utilizing Reveal and Lawson. Coordinates and leads operations in accounts receivable. Works closely with sponsors and departments providing various cash related services relating to accounts receivable. Accounts Payable Responsibility to include Accurate and timely processing of accounts payable invoices based on clinical trial contracts. Process departmental check request and clinical trial invoices by utilizing Online check request or Manual check request, while adhering to Norton Healthcare's policies and procedures for compliance. Coordinate all activities concerned with accurate and timely payments to vendors and patients through analyzing and processing invoices, check request, and contracts, while adhering to Norton Healthcare's policies and procedures for compliance.
