About the role:

As Research Investigator/Senior Research Associate, you will help develop the cellular therapy platforms such as primary T cells, NK cells or iPSC derived immune cells. You will plan and execute process, characterization to deliver data for cell therapy discovery platforms and target selection. You will prepare study protocols, reports, technology transfer documentation, and regulatory documents for several studies and present study results at team or department meetings, to external partners or at conferences.

How you will contribute:

• Work with departmental and peers to implement assignments.
• Responsible for technical aspects of a project.
• Prepare complex experimental protocols.
• Contribute to project work
• Review, interpret, and communicate data internally (e.g., to supervisor, project teams) and prepares technical reports.
• Propose and implement resolutions to technical issues.
• Design experiments/unit operations independently including follow up experiments.
• Help develop project strategy and communicate complex data/decisions
• Be a technical resource for junior staff and use your experience in laboratory technology as a functional resource/trainer.
• Coordinate within departmental and with peers on project work.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• To Be Considered for the Research Investigator Level:

• Master's degree in Immunology, molecular biology, biomedical engineering or related pharmaceutical science; 3+ years relevant industry experience.OR Bachelor's degree in Immunology, molecular biology, biomedical engineering or related pharmaceutical science; 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• Previous experience working in lab setting.

• To Be Considered for the Senior Research Associate Level:

• Bachelor's degree in Immunology, molecular biology, biomedical engineering or related pharmaceutical science; 2+ years relevant industry experience OR Master's degree in Immunology, molecular biology, biomedical engineering or related pharmaceutical science; 0+ years relevant industry experience.
• Previous experience working in lab setting.

• For Both Levels:

• Hands on experience with primary T cell or NK cell culturing.
• Experience in developing cell therapy products (CAR-NK, CAR-abT, CAR-gdT, or iPSC derived cells), or experience in developing and executing cellular characterization assays, including multi-color flow cytometry, multiplexed luminescent readouts, and Incucyte, in vitro proliferation/apoptosis, killing assays, cytokine detection.
• Experience with CRISPR gene editing, cell transfection, virus transduction, and non-virus gene delivery system by using EP (Electroporation) are strongly preferred.
• Experience in CliniMACS Prodigy, LOVO and Sepax is a plus.
• In-depth experience in principles and practices of cell biology methodologies, cellular immunology, including cell culture, viral transduction (retroviral or lentiviral) and development of functional in vitro and preclinical methods relevant for several types of immune cells or stem cells.
