The Customer Data Technology group within Fidelity’s Personal Investing (PI) organization is seeking a Senior API Developer to build the next generation REST APIs and migrate existing APIs to the cloud. This role is essential in delivering Fidelity’s promise of creating the best customer experience.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.
• 10+ years of JAVA/J2EE experience
• 3+ years of experience in building REST APIs
• Experience in working in highly complex data platforms
• Experience with messaging technologies especially Kafka
• Strong understanding of spring and experience with spring boot.
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience in integrating APIs with backends like Oracle
• Experience in DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery – Maven and Jenkins
• Experience in containerizing applications using Docker
• Experience in Agile methodologies - Kanban or SCRUM
• Any experience in developing data applications in Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
