Rewinder Operator - 3rd shift

What TC has to offer:

• Competitive compensations package - $24.28 starting pay, $26.98 after successful completion of probationary period. Can make up to $27.89 after learning laser scoring. 401K plan, and benefits.
• 3rd shift Monday - Friday Straight 8 hour shift with occasional Saturdays (10p-6a)
• $500 sign on bonus, half paid after probationary period, half after one year.

• Employee can bid for positions outside of Finishing Department including Waste Recovery, Warehouse, and Maintenance.

Rewinder Machine Operator responsibilities include:

• Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment.
• Ensure the correct material is run and customer quality specifications are followed.
• Troubleshoot minor machine problems.
• Monitor quality and waste for all orders.
• Maintain good housekeeping of area.
• Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
• Assist in training of safe work practices and all job responsibilities for new personnel.

Do you have what it takes:

• Manufacturing experience is preferred with 1-3 years Rewinder Operator experience.

• This job is in a manufacturing environment working on and around heavy machinery with high-speed rotating parts; continuous strobe lights may be present. Must have the ability to operate industrial power vehicles.

• Flexible packaging experience preferred.
• Detail oriented and able to distinguish colors.
• Comfortable working with computers and using a ruler/measuring tape.
• Lifting up to 40 pounds, walking/standing for extended periods of time.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision and handle a wide variety of responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Consistently at work and on time.
• Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing requirements.
• Ability to enforce and abide by safety regulations
