Foster Farm Botanicals, a producer of organic botanicals in East Calais, Vermont, is seeking a Sales Associate to drive sales. The Sales Associate must be “good with numbers” with the skills to conduct market research, track and analyze sales data, and generate performance reports. This position is responsible for maintaining customer relationships, responding to customer inquiries, calling potential customers on a regular basis, traveling to stores, events and trade shows and introducing new products. The person in this position will maximize SEO on Google and other search engines and will guide sales strategies on varying platforms, including the company’s website, Shopify and social media, and will instigate new programs to generate sales.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education; experience selling products and analyzing results; experience with a variety of technologies and applications in order to increase, track and analyze sales, including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Mailchimp, Dropbox, Shopify, accounting/sales software, social media platforms; ability to communicate effectively; customer service experience and interpersonal skills are essential; ability to problem solve and prioritize; goal-oriented and self-disciplined; persistent; position is on-site; must hold a valid VT driver's license and have reliable transportation.

Some marketing experience preferred but not required, mainly with Instagram and e-mail newsletters.
