Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Keep current on changes in the industry as it relates to Eakes products lines as well as competitors.
• Maintain excellent demonstration skills on all products sold or serviced.
• Analyze new manufacturer’s products as requested.

SALES ACTIVITIES:

• Continually prospect for new business as well as upgrade present customers.
• Canvass or cold call and follow up on all leads.
• Effectively utilize selling time (i.e. preparing proposals, contact customers and prospects).
• Exceed minimum sales quota and be aware of gross profit margins at all times.
• Demonstrate the product line at every opportunity.

DOCUMENT PROCESSING:

• Effectively utilize CRM and other software to track prospects and customers, complete proposals, reporting to management, etc.
• Complete all contracts properly and promptly.
• Process all required paperwork in a timely fashion and submit to proper personnel.

MISCELLANEOUS:

• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Attend all required sales meetings, departmental meetings, and manufacturer’s schools
• Communicate to the manager any sales reports or market changes.

OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNED

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 Years Sales Experience Preferred, Will Train
• Computer Knowledge/Experience Required
• High School Education or Equivalent
• Some College Desirable
