Fresh Sales Representative : Washington, DC

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven individual to generate leads and drive sales. The responsibilities include submitting regular sales reports to management, informing potential and existing customers of product features and benefits, and resolving customer complaints. You should also be able to create as well as present persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and repeat business. To be successful in this position, you should be persuasive and have excellent negotiation skills.

Representative Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed sales targets
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers
• Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers (Presence, personable, good vibe)
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Generate and submit sales reports to management
• Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
• Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory
• Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales (organizational skills)
• Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers

Representative Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sales representative, preferably in industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and rapport
• Great persuasive and negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficient in technology and dealing with equipment and software
• Able to travel locally as required of the job
• Must be able to stand and walk for long hours at a time

Availability – 10 to 4 available for meetings, office, M-F,

Expected availability outside hours – calls outside business hours more on the AM (route is late, missing or late order on weekend) expected to coordinate to complete order or cust service).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
