JOB DESCRIPTION

SkyRidge Development is a Real Estate Development Company that is building a new master planned community comprised of 473 single-family luxury homesites in the Greater Park City area on about 670 acres. We have built eight Subdivisions, sold 212 homesites, and are starting construction on the Community Amenities in 2023.

Due to growth in this real estate development project, the company is seeking to add a Senior Accountant to our team. This position will work with the Corporate Controller and perform an essential role by maintaining the general ledger, preparing bi-monthly check runs, and help prepare annual financial statements.

• Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities for five separate Corporations and LLC’s.
• Financial Statement Preparation, GL invoice coding, and Vendor Management.
• Enter all A/P and A/R activity and reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Analyzing performance financial data and prepare budget-to-actual reports.
• Review and analyze annual property tax bills and water reservation fees for all businesses.
• Play a key role in the annual business unit budgeting process.
• Support Sr. Management on special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Our ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the desire to grow professionally. Specific requirements for the Senior Accountant include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required; Master’s Degree or CPA preferred.
• Three to five years of experience within residential real estate, construction, or homebuilding industries.
• Strong Understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Solid organization and time management skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Must be able to multi-task and handle a face paced environment.
