Navigate Wireless has an immediate need for a responsible and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team!

The Senior Accountant position will look after all accounting, financial and payroll matters for our fast growing company! We are one of the largest US Cellular Agents in the United States, administrating 14 stores in the Northwest with 16 years of solid growth.

This person will report directly to the top level management of the company. They will prepare profit and loss statements on a quarterly and annual basis, oversee a team completing month end reconciliations for all bank accounts and vendors, manage all human resource functions including all payroll activities and prepare and file all quarterly and annual Federal and State obligations.

Responsibilities

• Produce financial statements including summaries of income, expenses and profit
• Analyze profits and costs
• Maintain bank accounts, analyze and correct discrepancies
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
• Assist in payroll processing with the long term aim of taking over all payroll processes
• Oversee and work with the accounts payable/receivable and vendor rebate teams to ensure accurate and timely processes
• Stay up to date with local, state and federal tax reporting to ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Recommend to management potential financial strategies for the company
