As a Sr Manager FP&A with Convera based in Denver, you will be responsible for the execution of revenue plan and forecast modelling, detailed business analysis and reporting in support of business operations and key initiatives. You will serve as tactical, day to day business partner, establishing priorities to deliver comprehensive finance support to business teams including profitability analysis, initiative performance, and revenue growth.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and refining financial models and analysis to support a changing business environment.
- Identifying and implementing process improvement ideas within area of responsibility.
- For overall revenue planning and forecasting for the global business.
- Partnering with business unit leaders, including GTM and Sales Operations, to drive business growth and profitability.
- Providing visibility to executive team on business costs and lead initiatives to optimise and implement cost control measures.
- Preparing board reports and relevant profit & loss, customer segment and product growth profitability reports.
- Delivering relevant reporting and analytics for functional leaders to drive business growth.
- Annual budgeting and Quarterly forecasting in alignment of corporate strategy.
- Reviewing business cases for new opportunities and contract renewal.
- Assessing and monitoring the financial outcomes of various global opportunities and projects.
- Acting as a mentor to other members of the FP&A team.

- Strong communication skills with demonstrated success in periodically expanding financial responsibilities and influence as a leader. Detailed and organized in providing planning direction and guidance to multiple business and finance teams.
- Cross-functional contributor on business and FP&A projects. Performs expanded supervisory responsibilities inherent in a team leadership role, including ensuring the success of others in FP&A
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
