QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional registration in California or Oregon or ability to obtain.
• 5 + years experience in HVAC and plumbing design, including these systems (DX split, VAV, VRF, Chilled water and heating water)
• Familiar with building, mechanical, plumbing and energy codes.
• Perform mechanical engineering code review and constructability reviews of staff work.
• Proficiency in MS Office software (AutoCAD, REVIT, EnergyPro, and MS Project are a plus).
• Ability to quickly learn varying procedures, processes, and systems.
• Ability to adapt to existing office standards and procedures.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Develop scopes of work, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Develop construction cost estimates.
• Develop company standard/project specific specifications.
• Proficiency in written and oral communications.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Occasional travel and overtime
• Valid California or Oregon Driver’s License (or ability to obtain)
• U.S. Citizenship or Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check (no felony convictions)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
