Research Senior Scientist, RNA Molecular Biology

The candidate will have excellent RNA molecular biology skills with experience in post-transcriptional gene regulation.

As the Research Senior Scientist __RNA Molecular Biology, you will have excellent RNA molecular biology skills with experience in post-transcriptional gene regulation. You will work collaboratively with researchers across multiple functional groups within the DDS department, Takeda’s Drug Discovery Units, and with contract research organizations (CROs). You will also have the opportunity to present work at national and international conferences.

• Develops and oversees cell-based screens including massively parallel reporter assays
• Contribute to experimental design, execution, and data analysis
• May manage junior staff

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

• PhD degree in Molecular Biology or related field with 3+ years experience, or
• MS with 9+ years experience, or
• BS with 11+ years experience

Base Salary Range: $130,200-186,000K. Employees may also be eligible for Short Term and Long-Term Incentive benefits. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program and Paid Volunteer Time Off. The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
