This position will also require commuting to work at our Shakopee Warehouse.

Bailiwick is currently seeking a qualified Senior Warehouse Associate to contribute to our ongoing success and growth. The role of the Senior Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks relating to receiving, storing, shipping and distributing materials as well as provide leadership to the team by assisting with the training of new team members, assist with questions/issue resolution from team members and provide an overall calm presence providing direction and prioritization advice to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

Warehousing

• Receives products and/or materials
• Examines products and/or materials for damage
• Stores products and/or materials according to established procedures and locations
• Fills requisitions for materials and/or products
• Maintains inventory records
• Determines method of shipment
• Packages and prepares products and/or materials for shipping
• Operates forklift and/or pallet jack as needed and if certified
• Understand and follow inventory management SOP’s
• Troubleshoot issues utilizing the ERP system and reporting tools, if applicable

Team Leadership

• Prepare on-boarding and training plans for new hires
• Conduct training on SOPs, safety standards and general departmental policies
• Mentor other employees as needed
• Provide backup for Warehouse Leads during vacations, busy times

Communication & Interpersonal Relationships

• Effectively communicates throughout the organization
• Takes direction accurately and provide constructive feedback when appropriate
• Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships – developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience
• Minimum 2 years relevant business experience
• Prefer prior experience or familiarity with ERP software applications
• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Desired: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience

Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be proficient in multiple warehouse processes (receiving, picking, putaway, shipping, inventory, etc.); must be proficient in at least 3 areas
• Must be forklift certified
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite tools
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments
• Ability to accurately track, troubleshoot and problem solve
• Enthusiastic with exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to manage one's own time effectively
• Accuracy
• Any relevant certifications a plus
