The mission of Hawthorne Valley Farm Store is to provide the highest quality biodynamic, organic, local and regional food to the community at reasonable prices and in a profitable manner; in doing so the store will support the ongoing mission of Hawthorne Valley Association.

Hawthorne Valley Farm Store is looking to fill a part-time Shift Supervisor opening. The Shift Supervisor's primary responsibilities are to ensure prompt, friendly, courteous customer service, accurate cash handling, store security and smooth store operations during designated shifts. Part time employees receive paid sick time and a 10% discount at our Farm Store.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Experience serving the public and handling multiple demands while staying calm
• Ability to project an outgoing, friendly personality
• Communications skills: good listening, giving clear instructions
• Attention to detail, accuracy
• Ability to lead
• Regular, predictable attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 6 months of retail experience
• Familiarity with natural foods

The anticipated schedule for this opening is Tuesday 12pm to 8pm.
