LinQuest is seeking a summer intern to join our Pensieve team in Beavercreek OH!

This LinQtern will gain experience with our Pensieve team. Pensieve is a dynamic data repository and search platform. This intern wok period will be from June 1-August 30, 2023.

LinQtern will be helping the Pensieve team design and implement a user interface, APIs, and advanced search capabilities. The user interface will be able to dynamically build user inputs, data display, and data validation. Additionally - they will be involved in the complete development cycle from managing source control, coding and testing to deployment on our internal network.

Responsibilities:

• Insight into product/tool SW development and databases
• Provide creative contributions to the project
• Integrate and share knowledge as key part of a mature Software team
• Understand LinQuest culture and opportunities with the desired goal of solidifying employment of a successful graduate.
• Learn professional skills related to teamwork, coordination, and communication
• Expand skills in relevant technologies and languages through personal research

Required Experience:

• You must be a college student in good standing, enrolled in a 4 year university in your Senior year
• Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field
• You must have a minimum college GPA requirement of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. If you are selected for an internship, you must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 after each completed semester/term
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required to be considered for this position

Required Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with willingness to learn
• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Experience creating APIs

• Data modeling
