We are Sunco.com, a lighting company with products used by millions of homes and businesses in North America. Want to build new products from scratch? Sunco is seeking Software Engineer #1, an experienced full-stack software engineer and leader who will build and shape our company’s technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• External products: Build consumer and business products that take Sunco from 0 to 1
• Internal products: Build microservices that scale Sunco’s competitive advantages
• Lead long term technical vision and roadmap for our internal and external products
• Write your own code and be great at it
• Review code from developers you may hire and manage

Minimum Qualifications

• 12+ years of full-stack programming experience
• 8+ years of experience with web technologies, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• Expert in Python and JavaScript, and relevant frameworks/technologies
• Proven track record of planning a roadmap in which small projects ladder to the larger vision
• Experience leading developer teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $205,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year
