Masimo is looking for summer interns to join our Software Engineering team. Job Summary:

These positions will support phases of the software development lifecycle for our current portfolio and upcoming product releases.

Potential Teams:

Applicants will be considered for one or more of the following Software Engineering teams -

• Web
• Desktop Software
• Embedded Software
• Software Automation

Major Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement large-scale hospital and at-home web software solutions for clinical monitoring, communications, alarm notifications and reporting.
• Develop software automation testing systems and procedures for all products.
• Analyze test outcomes to determine pass/fail status, document findings, and analyze data acquired from testing.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interface within a cross-functional team environment.
• Computer skills: Java programming, Spring framework, REST and/or web services. Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular and React a plus. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) a plus.
• Computer skills: Development with object-oriented design, such as: C++, Java, Python, Selenium. Experience with developing test automation frameworks.

Education:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Must be a current university student to qualify as an intern. Alum candidates and students graduating May/June 2023 are not eligible for intern opportunities.

Location:

• This position will report on-site in Irvine, CA.
