Enovation Controls is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join us in the development of custom software solutions for exciting applications such as tow sport boats, motorcycles, and off-road vehicles. Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the Software Test Engineering team stays up to date in the utilization of software testing industry standards and best practices
• Collaborate with software developers to utilize testing frameworks in application software
• Own development and maintenance of test plans
• Conduct software validation testing to ensure that software conforms to required specifications
• Work within an Agile development environment with tight communication between cross functional teams
• Document defects and communicate results directly to software developers and assist in resolution activities

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related Science / Technology field of study, OR equivalent training and experience
• Minimum 2 years of Software Test / QA experience in a fast-moving agile environment
• Formal training on Software Quality methodologies
• Experience owning quality and testing applications end to end
• Experience interpreting project requirements/specifications, proposing tests, and helping to identify risks
• Experience supporting the creation and maintenance of test plans and test methods that assess software functionality compliance and performance
• Experience in executing tests, in documenting results, and in helping to diagnose problems

Preferred qualifications

• Experience testing infotainment applications focused on UI/UX
• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar backlog / tracking tools
• Experience with user / usability testing methods
• Experience with engine and vehicle communication protocols (e.g. CAN)
