This may come across as an unorthodox or unprofessional job post, but I am looking for one or two individuals to help open our Richmond, VA office. I figured why not try something different. I have been in the solar industry for 3 years and have seen it all. I've opened up offices all over the country, I've been a VP for a national solar company and have owned my own company (sunlight energy). Recently I've become a part of the Nova Solar family and found an organization that does it the right way. I dont mention my experience to impress anyone, I mentioned my experience because it is relevant. If I am able to pull this off, then there has to be more people out there that can as well. I assure you, I am not special. I am just in the right industry at the right time. I have acquired a unique skillset within the industry by having done every position from door to door appointment setting, sales, recruiting, managing, to running teams and even a company. We are looking for someone who wants to upstart their career while taking advantage and learning from all of the mistakes I made along the way. We want to work with someone that can be all in, that can have personal involvement and build relationships with their teams, that is not afraid to try all positions within the company and will truly lead from the front. This person needs be willing to learn and be all in within an organization. There is a difference between being a workaholic and being all in during the hours that are dedicated to work. All that will do is increase your life outside of work which is the only reason we work in the first place. When you are off, you are off. This individual will not only be rewarded financially, but with a great team and more support than is imaginable. The position starts off as a sales consultant, 1099, going through our step by step training program and taking appointments to close deals. This will be done ethically, and not by being an impressive, smooth salesman, but by being genuine and actually educating homeowners. From there, I am looking to replace myself a manager of the office to expand throughout Virginia. Again, strange to put in a job post but I am 26 with no family yet, this is my sole focus for the next 3-5 years. I am all in, and the biggest thing I can bring to the table is my willingness to be available for those that are also all in. The solar industry has the ability to change someones life, I have seen it first hand. Although I will continue to make mistakes and learn along the way, the better people I can surround myself the better off I will be, and vice versa. I am just hoping to find good, genuine people. Someone to work alongside and set the standard for not only the company, but the industry as a whole, because quite frankly I think it sucks.
