SPN Solutions is seeking to hire a senior level, .NET Full Stack Developer to support ongoing critical requirements with one of our Defense customers in Bethesda, MD. The Developer will be responsible for developing web applications, user controls, and computing solutions using server-side language (such as C# and VB.NET), consuming enterprise data using ADO.NT and Entity Framework as well as integrating with other solutions. The Developer will function as part of a team, inclusive of customers, and must demonstrate sufficient written and communication skills to ensure success.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Design and development of web applications using ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C# or VB .NET and other languages such as XML, HTML and CSS.
• Translate applications requirements into the design of complex web sites, including integration with other business and / or web platforms.
• Coding, Code / Peer Review, Integration and Unit Testing
• Apply new and emerging technologies to the site development process.
• Using ADO.net, and LINQ in connecting to Data Access management with SQL Server
• Leveraging LINQ to query against strongly typed collections of objects and various data sources including ADO.NET Objects and Entity Framework and XML Documents
• Perform automated tests, unit tests (NUNIT) and customized testing for developed systems
• Collaborate with other developers in the development and sustainment
• Support concept, interface design, and architecture of websites.
• Ensure websites and applications meet enterprise cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with other technical engineering teams.
• Improves quality results by implementing unit, system, and integration testing cycles.
• Proactively identifies and communicates risks to project development.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical structures in an understandable user-friendly format.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have four-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, related field or at least 4 years of experience.
• Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must meet DOD 8570 requirements.
• Must have at least two (2) years of experience developing web applications using Visual Studio and ADO.NET
• Must be experienced with the following languages and libraries:
  C# or VB, T-SQL, XML, HTML
• Experience developing applications using C# or VB .Net, HTML and CSS3

Technical Requirements

• Experience translating customer business to software requirements, design, and implementation
• Understand Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Understanding of design patterns
• Working experience with 3rd Party Tools such as DevExpress UI Controls and Telerik Controls
• Working experience with T-SQL and Relational Database Design
• Experience using Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server (TFS) management software
• Experience designing and developing enterprise mid-tier components of web driven n-tier application framework leveraging technologies such as C#, ORM Entity Framework, .Net Core, Identity Server, JSON and REST.
• Experience with external application and data integration through APIs

Desired Skills

• Understanding and working experience with Front-End JavaScript based frameworks such as jQuery, jQuery UI, and Bootstrap
• Experience with the following languages and libraries:
  JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, XSLT
• Special consideration for professional experience with the following:
  • NodeJS
  • Photoshop
  • ShareGate
  • Telerik Controls
  • DevExpress
• Experience with source safe control framework such as Git and visual source safe
