Cordia Resources is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant for contract to join a mission-driven non-profit in Tysons Corner, VA on a Hybrid basis. Staff Accountant will be a key member of a fast-paced accounting and finance team. Staff Accountant will be able to contribute as a valued member of the team ad receive opportunities to learn and grow as an accounting professional.

Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Tysons Corner, VA
Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $40.00/hour
Job Type: Contract

Prior experience within the non-profit industry is required!

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Supporting the month end, quarterly and annual close processes
• Account reconciliation and maintaining the general ledger
• Journal entries
• Knowledge of GAAP principles

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
• 1+ years accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• CPA candidate is a plus
