Position Responsibilities
Gather and analyze information needed to prepare journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports.
Research and document financial statement variances, making corrections as needed.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Assist in the year-end financial audit, preparing schedules and addressing auditor requests for information.
Track and maintain bank account and credit card activity.
Record all fixed asset activity, maintain asset listings and participate in fixed asset audits.
Pursue efficiencies and process improvement opportunities.
Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
No experience required, 1+ years accounting experience preferred.
Proficient in Excel, Access or SQL preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and possess a high attention to detail.
