PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Supplier Enablement Lead is responsible for the implementation of electronic ordering through settlement for suppliers transacting on the Ariba Network. Responsibilities include managing the supplier lifecycle, onboarding suppliers to the Ariba platform, tracking supplier compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to remove barriers to enablement. The candidate will also be responsible for facilitating supplier training sessions and supplier summits. Ideal candidates will be self-starters able to work independently as well as collaborate with the Procure-to-Pay Transformation Team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

• Lead Supplier Enablement Specialists in supporting supplier enablement tasks
• Reinforce solution compliance with internal stakeholders
• Escalate risks and major business roadblocks to full Enablement
• Propose communication strategy, compliance policy, and initial Ariba Network configuration
• Analyze historical transactions and gathers consensus for performance goals for upcoming wave
• Develop supplier wave plan and obtains approval from internal stakeholders
• Executes against the project timeline while meeting customer goals and objectives for Pre-Go Live Performance
• Reports on supplier enablement project status and results
• Documents opportunities for process improvement among cross functional teams supporting SE
• Coordinates enablement related cutover activities with technical teams
• Develop and disseminate formal supplier communications including Project Notification Letter and Go-Live Communications
• Develops content for and participates in supplier training webinars/summits as well as regular enablement project status calls
• Generates Initial List of Suppliers in Scope for Wave and Provides Match File to SAP Ariba
• Completes data collection for missing or inaccurate data records that are required for the enablement.
• Confirms Enablement Track (Pre-Go Live, Post-Go Live, Integrated, etc) and Internal Supplier Points of Contact
• Creates Vendor Upload Files (VUF) and provides to SAP
• Perform Spend Analysis and Provide Best Practices to Achieve SE strategy
• Prepares and Loads master data
• Develops Requirements for Transaction Rules and Administers Default and Supplier/Country-specific Rules on Network
• Supports e-invoice compliance and enforces mandate with suppliers, serving as escalation path for SE team
• Implements e-invoice solution participation requirements in new contracts.
• Main buyer-side contact for seller integration project coordination and single point of contact
• Creates and maintains test plans for end-to-end solution testing with suppliers
• Generates test orders
• Monitors Integrated Supplier transaction activity and proactively addresses reportable errors
• Documents opportunities for configuration changes resulting in greater transactional efficiency
• Creates ongoing business value to bring more suppliers and spend to Ariba Network
  

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Administration Management, Project Management or similar field
• 5+ years of similar work experience preferred but not required
• Experience managing customer/supplier relationships
• Procurement knowledge or experience
• Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
• Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience working in a large, complex multi-location manufacturing organization
• Effective communicator both written and oral
• Must be a self-starter willing to take initiative
• Technical aptitude
