PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Objective(s):
Supply Chain Analyst Intern to work with Purchasing Team with researching and analyzing data to help with updating ERP system to current demand and inventory levels. Ensuring that the supply chain data provided is effectively utilized by the global supply management team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team members are expected to analyze data, provide recommendations, and help implement updates in Oracle ERP system.
- Perform MRP and Spend Analytics looking for optimization of business practice
- Update part classifications to ensure parts are assigned to the proper commodity family
- Review minmax, safety stock levels and update to current demand
- Help update part lead times in ERP
- Create process documentation
- Help Buyers re-schedule, update and expedite Purchase Orders
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
Preferred major(s):
- BS/MS in Supply Chain, Business or Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Distribution.
Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above
Preferred Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
Exposure to basic operational concepts including logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing
Able to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $23.00 and $26.00. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
