The Role

Fidelity Investments is looking for a Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about powerful technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. You will be responsible for hands on development across multiple technology stacks (automated testing of Javascript, Typescript, Angular, Cypress, GraphQL amd similar). You will be responsible for performing all Software Development Lifecycle for designing, developing, testing and deployment. Overall, you will have an appetite for learning, evaluating, and recommending new technologies. Software Engineers at Fidelity Investments pride themselves on their experience, leadership, and ability to build relationships across teams.

The Expertise You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related)
• 6+ years of experience in software development and test
• Experience testing user Experience applications, both Unit and Functional testing using tools such as JEST, Cypress, or equivalent
• Experience in developing test automation frameworks
• Understanding and/or experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy, etc)
• Experience in mobile application testing is a plus
• Experience writing and testing Restful web services is an added benefit!
• Certifications in AWS or similar cloud platforms are a plus
• Creative, Innovative and Problem-Solving skills are a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills needed for agile team
• Experience writing User Experience applications in Angular or similar (desirable)
