Job Description

• Familiarity with all types of tax returns, business, personal, trusts, estates, pensions, payroll and with multi-state issues. • Computer experience including CCH Prosystems or other comprehensive tax preparation software, QuickBooks, Excel, Word, Word Perfect, and use of various websites for Internet research. • At least four years of tax experience within a public accounting firm, partnership or sole proprietorship, or with IRS or other state agency. • Certified Public Accountant licensed in Maryland, DC or Virginia, or Enrolled Agent. • Creative thinker with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• There is work available for both preparers and reviewers.

Timmons, Edwards and Company PC does not work with government contractors, perform audits, prepare financial statements, or sell financial products.
