Job Responsibilities

• Manager is responsible for operations of the department including disciplinary action, writing appraisals, safety including writing accident reports, performance, mentoring.
• Manager must complete all phases of OSTK leadership training, have knowledge of our business plan and warehouse goals, have expertise in all aspects of the department, be proficient in Highjump, MS office, Webwise, other department applications.
• Manager will follow company handbook.
• Oversees all Quality Assurance policies and procedures to assure processes are accurately followed. Also oversees creation and/or updating of Process Documents to ensure all associates are properly trained.
• Maintains the physical condition of their department to reflect cleanliness, efficiency and organization.
• Works directly with other department managers on maintaining quality standards for Receiving, Shipping, Returns and Inventory Control.
• Develops safety standards, requirements and programs, and communicates them to assure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
• Develops and implements action plans (e.g. facility/equipment improvements) designed to improve warehouse productivity/quality.
• Performs other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.
• Follows legal policies as directed.

Job Requirements

• Experience hiring and leading diverse teams
• 5 years in a distribution environment
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and oral/written skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to influence people across the organization
• Ability to coach your reports to grow a high-performance team

Base Salary Range: $66,000 - $82,000

Duties of this job may require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects weighing up to 50 lbs., working in a warehouse environment, operating various hand and motor powered equipment, standing on concrete floors, walking for extended periods of time, stooping, bending, twisting, and being exposed to loud noises and various temperatures and scents.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
