Starting pay is $19.08 an hour, paid on weekly basis. With potential to make $ 22.79 after one year and $30.65 per hour after four years of employment!!!

Order Selectors are active throughout their day working independently using a voice-controlled system to select full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products using powered pallet jacks. You will palletize cases (how good at Tetris are you?) and prepare pallets to ship to your local Jewel Osco stores. All while being a safety champion.

Reliability is key, as you are part of a larger team that will depend on you to be punctual and deliver on a daily basis. We are hiring for all shifts, weekend and holiday availability is required. This is a union warehouse with days off and shifts being based on seniority.

Our warehouse and distribution teams do more than pick orders and pack pallets; if you are looking to build a career Jewel-Osco has growth opportunities that will allow you to build experience and move throughout our company.

Basic Work Requirements:

• Repetitive lifting including bulk cases averaging 18lbs and weighing up to 80lbs
• Comfortable operating pallet jacks and heavy warehouse equipment
• Able to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, stand and walk on feet for shifts ranging from 8-10 hours
• Detail orientated, accuracy in case selection
• Reliable and punctual

Preferred Work Requirements:

• 1 year bulk selection warehouse experience
• Experience operating pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
