We are currently looking for an experience security officer to fill a gate position that is starting March 6th in Palo, IA.

Shift:

6pm to 6am

Saturday & Sunday

Duties:

Direct traffic through checkpoint as appropriate per SOP

Check ID's and Tags as required on incoming vehicles

Emergency planning and action(Fire, weather and other emergent situations) Directing people to designated areas and following action plans during these situations

Direct police and fire personnel during emergencies as needed

Observe and report suspicious activity

Work with onsite personnel to resolve issues

Vehicle patrol of property

Check locks, gates, roads and other security measures as required

Use of PPE and safety equipment

Safe use of motor vehicle

Apply procedures and directives to real life situations

Complete necessary reports thoroughly

Report any issues that need attention to management

Requirements:

Effective verbal communication with employees, contractors and other personnel on site and off

Ability to use technology(cell phone with software)

Previous military, law enforcement, public safety or security experience required

Must have valid drivers license and the ability to be insured on company policy

HS Diploma

Must be able to pass drug test and criminal background check
