2. What are the major results or outcomes to be accomplished by the person in this job?
- 1. Clients want you to continue working on their project; clients have no complaints.
- 2. Workpapers are completed timely, accurately, and completely to meet planned deadlines.
- 3. AWorkpaper for your assigned processes are completed accurately - 2-5 review comments for each task you complete
- 4. Effectively complete documentation tasks for 1 client to meet their deadlines after 60 days of start date
- 5. Effectively complete documentation tasks for 2 clients to meet their deadlines after 90 days of start date
- 6. . Effectively complete documentation tasks for 3-4 clients to meet their deadlines after 120 days of start date
- 7. Meet the established documentation standard and format for each task by following instructions
3. Job Responsibilities
- 1. Check source documents received from clients are the items needed
- 2. If needed, identify missing data and request from the client
- 3. Check that source documents are annotated according to requirements
- 4. Verify all data fields were completed with accurate data from source documents
- 5. Verify the procedures outlined were completed
- 6. Check that work papers match the instructions given
You will manage 3 of these processes for 2-4 clients
- 1. Financial statement close and reporting
- 2. Fixed assets
- 3. Inventory
- 4. HR new hire, termination, pay changes
- 5. Payroll processing
- 6. Accounts payable, vendor invoice payments
- 7. Customer invoicing and accounts receivable
- 8. Stock option, employee equity administration
4. Job Requirements:
- 1. Required: 6 or more years accounting experience
- 2. Required: Reliable, consistent internet connection
- 3. Required: Workstation - At least 2 monitors for added efficiency and productivity
- 4. Required: Ability to work with several clients at a time
- 5. Required: Ability to work with a diverse global team from all cultures
- 6. Required: Intermediate Excel skills
- 7. Required: use software and tools such as chat, Word, Skype, file sharing folders
- 8. Preferred: CPA, CIA, CISA
- 9. Required: 5% (2 weeks) travel for site visits if needed.
- 10. Preferred: Ability to work extended hours for client needs occasionally.

For the first 90 days, you may start out as a full-time contractor or as a full-time temporary employee (with no benefits).
After 90 days, you have the potential to transition to a “permanent” employee with benefits.

7. Pay range: $75,000 - $90,000
8. Shift/Hours Info:
- We work in Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone. So, while the hours have some flexibility, it will be important to be available for any required meetings that may be outside of your normal shift time, due to some clients being in different time zones. Weekly average hours are 42. The range could be from 40-50 hours per week depending on project deadlines.
