Job Description :
Lumper will count, stack, measures, and verifies contents of shipments against lumping receipts. Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-down Forklift Experience required!!
Pay: Production based $120-$300 a day. Shift: 10:00PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with scheduler and receivers for the daily workload.
- Offload inbound trucks in a timely manner.
- Breaks down pallets according to Lumper sheets.
- Examines articles for defects and sorts of articles according to the extent of the defect.
- Manage dock space to ensure efficient work methods.
- Comply with safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
