Business Development Manager
Forensic Building Science, Inc. (FBS) conducts failure analysis and condition assessments on all types of building structures. Our diverse client portfolio includes Federal and State Government entities, School Districts, Churches, Hotel Chains, Homeowners Associations and Management Companies, Manufacturing Facilities, Fortune 500 Companies, Developers, General Contractors, Public Adjusters, Insurance Companies and Law Firms throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. Knowledge in the fields of Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Building Design, Construction Management, Insurance Claims handling or Complex Litigation is a plus. At Forensic Building Science our processes are our products.
The ideal candidate will not only seek new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers, but they will also maintain strong positive relationships with our current institutional clients.
Job Description:
Forensic Building Science, Inc. is an 18-year-old diverse and well-established national inspection company, looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to maintain relationships with our institutional clients and create new market growth strategies as we scale. This is a remote/WORK FROM HOME position. Travel will be required.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. They will use their communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact all the way through the sales cycle.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing professional relationships with clients to support company revenue and outreach. Their duties include contacting existing clients to discuss new products or services, guaranteeing company revenue and researching new leads and territories for onboarding new clients. They should also have a dedication to their company and the products and services they offer. Their passion for the products and services they sell can help persuade potential clients to continue through the buying process.
This position will be a base salary plus commission.
