Job Description

With this position you will be supporting an ongoing major project with input from the Project Directors along with the Project managers already assigned. With this exposure you will learn the inner workings of how small and major projects are managed within the project management team.

Primarily, you will be responsible for:

Developing and updating PowerBI reports to support project deliverables and project management. This will include close collaboration with project team members to understand the logic needed to effectively visualize data.

Additionally, you will support:

• Project Timeplans
• Project Assurance Plans
• Project management team support
• General project support needs
• Opportunities to manage smaller, less complex projects under the guidance of senior management may be considered.

A successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and data visualizations - you like data and are comfortable troubleshooting results to improve the fidelity of data to help make key project decisions.

Requirements:

• BS or BA or equivalent Ability to manage large data sets, likes working with data, and can apply logic to create value from reports and visualizations.
• 5 years of technical work or exposure in relevant areas
• Has demonstrated successful leadership of technology and people over time
• Has successfully led at least some small product changes from start to end
• Proven to be able to summarize complex topics in a simple ways
• Produces results from cross functional teams and confronts issues proactively
• Vehicle product know-how and experience as well as knowledge of Vehicle Assembly processes
• Experience managing requirements, deliverables and milestones: on time/within budget/meeting business needs
• Interfaced with more than one functional areas in different sites, communicated with strategic stakeholders with a good understanding of the business

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
