Doodlebug Academy is Cache Valley's PREMIER Childcare, Preschool, Private Kindergarten, Before & After School Care and Summer Day Camp Center! Our center was designed and constructed with children in mind! We are the newest, cleanest, and the only state of the art center available in Cache County! Come see for yourself!!!

We are looking for several new teachers take a look at the available positions below. We want teachers that encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facility. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.

Current Positions Available (APPLY ONLY IF YOU ARE AVAILABLE THE FOLLOWING DAYS AND HOURS).

· 1 Full-time Infant Teacher position – (Full-time Only, must have availability to work Monday - Friday 7:30am-5:30pm)

· 1 Part-time Infant Teacher position – (Must have availability to work Monday - Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, shift will fall with in these hours)

· 2 Full-Time 2-Year Old Teacher positions – (Full-time Only, must have availability to work Monday - Friday 7:30am-5:30pm)

· 1 Part-Time 3-Year Old Teacher position – (Must have availability to work Monday - Friday 1:30pm-6:30pm)

Job Requirements:

· Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material

· Balance teaching between logical and social exercises

· Provide basic care and caregiving activities

· Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child’s abilities

· Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track

· Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children (We use an app called BrightWheel!)

· Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord

· Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action

· Collaborate with other colleagues

· Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources

Preferred Skills

· Experience as a childcare / daycare teacher

· Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods

· Methodical and creative

· Patience, flexibility, and love for children

· Strong communication and time management skills

· Certificate in first aid and CPR

· Degree in early childhood education

Benefits/Compensation

· Free meals while on shift.

· All employees are eligible for up to a 25% discount on their childcare expense. We recommend all employees apply for a DWS childcare subsidy.

· Annual pay increases.

· Full-time employees are eligible for PTO (paid time off) and paid holidays & center closures. Mandatory waiting period applies.

· All Employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental benefits if hired during open enrollment or have a qualifying life event with our insurance broker.

During the Covid-19 pandemic we are operating under the guidelines from Utah's Childcare Licensing and the Bear River Health Department. We use peroxide solutions for surface sanitization & HEPA air purifiers.
