Job Description :
Local candidates preferred as there is no relocation assistance or per diem. Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.
Contributes to project technical delivery through:
- Assisting in the development of engineering deliverables including reports, specifications, calculations and drawings
- Performing limited assignments of specific engineering tasks, contributing to a minor phase of a larger project
- Applying academic knowledge to job responsibilities under close supervision of a more experienced engineer
- Solves problems of a routine nature within clearly defined procedures, with ready access to support and guidance
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering discipline
- Graduate level understanding of Engineering practices, design methods and calculations
- Able to apply the theory in a practical context
- Able to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to the assignment / task
- Able to create functional and cost effective designs that meet project requirements with support
- Able to understand and interpret civil / structural drawings
- Good level of general computer literacy and some basic familiarity with relevant engineering software
- Proactive in communicating across work groups to resolve barriers
- Conducts work in a professional manner
- Good interpersonal and team working skills, builds positive relationships
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Creative and innovative in finding solutions
- Enthusiastic, conscientious, and committed to continuous professional development
- High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of daily work
