MEDICAL SURGICAL CARE CLINICAL PHARMACY SPECIALIST

Georgia based progressive community and multi-hospital health system:

This progressive health system is looking for a highly skilled pharmacist to serve as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Medicine/Surgery. This pharmacist will be a part of a consistent team of Specialized pharmacists that provide 24/7 coverage to our critically-ill patients. The pharmacist will also provide services that maximize the hospital’s ability to meet national indicators. Other responsibilities include:

• As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will work with other healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens using evidence-based medicine and standards of care to service critically-ill patients.
• Providing educational in-services.
• Developing policies and/or processes to improve departmental operations and participation in at least one departmental or hospital committee.

Qualified candidates will have at a minimum one year of health system-based pharmacy experience as a Med/Surg Clinical Pharmacist. Ideal candidates will also have completed a PGY1 residency or equivalent with critical care experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
