JOB OVERVIEW

Engineered Fluid, Inc. is looking for an Controller to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities. The Controller will be in charge of reporting an organization's financials timely and correctly. The Controller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and responsibilities will include the following:

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all daily operations of the accounting department
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce timely financial reports or statements
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits and bank compliance requirements
  • Manage cash receipts and cash disbursements process (i.e. collection of accounts receivable, payments of accounts payable, payroll)
  • Perform and review month end account reconciliations
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, principles, and controls
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Meet financial accounting objectives by establishing clear internal timelines for organization

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
