Because of our desire to innovate the cabinet industry, we recently shifted focus from off-the-shelf production towards providing fully custom cabinet solutions. Now, we’re Venture-backed, and rolling out stores nationwide as a premier specialty cabinet retailer.

What We Are Looking For

As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information, and providing strategic guidance to senior management. You will be responsible for managing and directing the accounting department, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct the accounting department, including the day-to-day operations of the finance team
• Oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information to senior management
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial decisions
• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and the board of directors
• Manage the preparation and filing of all required tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, documented, and reported in accordance with accounting principles and internal controls
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and oversee the preparation of the company's financial statements
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA certification required
• 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite ERP systems.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
