Essential Functions:

• Responds to customer inquiries, order requests, instructions or problems
• Identify customer requirements and coordinates efforts to meet these needs
• Reviews and update customer records
• Communicate clearly by assuring prompt handling of customer service inquires and problems
• Maintain records and complete all required reports
• Communicate with operations
• Update McLeod software with information related to the loads
• Schedule appointments, reschedules when delayed or broke down
• All other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED diploma
• At least two years of related experience and/or training
• At least one year of experience in the transportation industry
• Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must have people skills
• Must be thorough and have great organization skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle multi-functions
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and office functions
• Ability to work proficiently and efficiently in a timely manner
• Highly detail oriented

Work Environment: CSR duties operate in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands: CSR duties require the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. It may also require walking primarily on a level surface for certain periods of time, as well as, reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be necessary. On call rotation (Nights and Weekends) every few weeks.
