Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Design Intern to be based in Denver, CO

_This position is expected to begin in_ May 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

+ Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

+ Research, writing and assistance in developing sustainability plans including Environmental Social Governance (ESG) reporting

+ Support with social metrics / Key Performance Indicators for various projects

+ Assistance with stakeholder engagement and outreach

+ Support with developing infographics to effectively communicate data

+ Support with data analytics

+ Assistance with developing resilient and sustainable infrastructure solutions

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
+ Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Engineering/Design, Sustainability, Landscape Architecture, Architecture or other related field required.

+ Must have completed at least 1 year of study.

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

+ Positive outlook and can-do attitude approach to tasks and teamwork.

+ Good writing, research, analysis and communication skills.

+ ENVISION and/or LEED exposure/experience, preferred.

+ Proficient with ArcGIS, Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator, preferred.

+ Relocation is not available for this position.

+ Sponsorship is not available for this position.

+ The hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00
