Job Description :

We are seeking a Finance Manager to perform a wide range of confidential, high level financially related tasks for the organization. The ideal candidate will perform duties in a manner that is consistent with the mission, strategic plan, and goals of Berna Construction as well as demonstrate a strong professional demeanor, reliability and trustworthiness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This person is quick to get on speed with managing the day-to-day financials of the company. Someone who will own the position and all responsibilities while being detailed and timely. If you enjoy checking all the boxes all while being efficient and organized and ahead of the game at all time this is the position for you.

  • Handle Financial Billing, Collections, etc. A-Z daily.
  • Helps to develop as well as implements and manages processes and procedures to maintain efficient financial management and systems (e.g. forms, collections, email, etc.).
  • Handles privileged attorney/client and sensitive work-product communications and identifies privileged matters, directing them to the president’s office.
  • Contributes to the preparation of information and documents for use in negotiations of financial matters.
  • Manages data and prepares reports using Excel spreadsheets and other software including QuickBooks.
  • Drafts and produces memoranda, correspondence, and reports for President and Vice President and prepares PowerPoint presentations.
  • Provides information to individuals as appropriate.
  • Maintains regular communication with the president’s support team to exchange information relating to developments within the organization.
  • Prioritizes, manages, consults, and provides expert advice on multiple projects and follows through on tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Manages, tracks, and monitors budget allocations, the preparation of purchase orders, vendor relations, as well as the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders. Ensures expenditures are within the department’s budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and five years of business/office experience as a finance manager or close position. A combination of education and experience may be taken into consideration based on the applicant’s credentials.
  • Must be computer proficient with knowledge of a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
